TODAY'S HOT TOPIC:

The Truth Behind Free
Product Trials

"FREE 7 DAY TRIAL"

"FREE SAMPLES AVAILABLE!"

"FREE TRIAL PACKS"

Sounds too good to be true right?
Guess what, it is.

I get a lot of questions about web sites that are offering these deals, it seems that when one offers a deal, the others quickly match it. I am not going to name names, but the main aim of these deals is to get your credit card information and sign you up for an automatic billing and automatic shipment program. Here is how the process usually works:

  • You sign up for a supposed free trial, of which you usually have to pay a shipping cost that is non refundable.
  • You receive product, hopefully on time.
  • If you do not cancel by a specific date which is usually so short that it does not give you enough time to see if the product works for you, you are automatically billed and shipped another cycle.
  • Cancellation procedures are usually difficult, involve long-distance calls, long hold times and are just generally frustrating.
  • If you are able to cancel, you may also be subject to hidden restocking fees.

In Conclusion...

I have gotten so many negative and ZERO positive comments about these programs that I don't recommend them. Stick with a company that offers a no questions asked return policy and you will be good to go. Remember, you get what you pay for.
